My uncle and aunt are both nearsighted, so at the moment my little cousin was born, he was suffering from nearsightedness. And now, it’s time for him to prepare to go to the primary school, but his glasses still remain as a big problem. He is such a naughty boy that my uncle is wondering which kind of glasses he should wear.

glasses gor children
As is generally known, children are more active and don’t care much about the outside environment very much. So whenever they are in the PE classes or doing some violent activities, the glasses should be taken off and put into the special box.
During these days, my uncle has been telling my cousin again and again that the glass should always be put in its proper place, and the lenses should be put upward. When it’s time to go to bed, he must put the glass into the box instead of wearing it while sleeping. But he just forgets these orders from time to time, whenever he finds that there is something such as dust or oil on his glass, he take the glass down and wipe it away with clothes, fingers, or whatever at hand.
Maybe this is just why the glasses for children should be designed specially. Children will never know if they don’t use soft paper or cloth to wipe the dust away, the lenses will be fuzzy by and by. Actually, the correct way is to moisten the surface of the lenses by exhaling the lenses and then wipe the dirty things away.
I also heard my uncle say that children’s eyes are more important, especially those children like his son, who was born with myopia, the degree of his nearsightedness would go higher and higher if the glass was not proper and healthy for the eyes.
This is my little cousin’s second prescription glasses for nearsightedness, with the first one broken by his own hands carelessly. And I hope that he will be careful enough, otherwise, my uncle and aunt may turn into crazy by those troubles he is going to bring.

Every year students have a long summer vacation. As the development of society, most of students are willing to spend most of your time on some TV programs and computer when they are free. The longer they spend on TV programs and computer every day, the worse it’s to their eyes.

eye care during the Summer Vacation
From the point of my view, now that the summer vacation is for them to have a rest, they should take good use of this time to let their body and also eyes have a good rest. When they are at school, they have to spend a lot of time on reading and doing homework. Therefore, some of them have to wear a pair of
glasses every day. As a matter of fact, on the understanding that they let their eyes have a good rest during summer vacation that it’s likely the vision will be ok. I mean that there is a possibility that there is no need for them to wear
reading glasses in the event you take good care of eyes. Or at least, the diopter won’t become any worse.
However, I don’t mean that they ought not to watch TV programs or play computer, I believe that nowadays no one is able to do it. Just like phones, they become one significant pair of our life. I mean students may spend less time on doing them. The less, the better. This is all for the good of eyes. I’m sure that it’s a little bit hard for them to do this. However, they ought to think about their eyes. Considering that they spend two months on watching TV programs and playing computer, they have to change another pair of
prescription glasses due to your strength. In a word, students should spend less time on those things.
Except watching TV programs and playing computer, there are many other things for students to do which are beneficial to eyes. For example, ask some friends to play ping pong, badminton or tennis. In fact, when playing these games, not only body gets some practice, but also eyes get some exercise. If they are able to playing these games for more than one hour during your summer vacation; therefore, two months later they will see that they have to change another pair of eyeglasses because the diopter of that pair of eyeglasses is high for you; or it’s possible that there is no need to wear eyeglasses any more. What’s more, this is helpful to strengthen the friendship among friends.
Anyway, I don’t think that it’s a good idea to watch TV programs and play computer every day. Walk out and play some sports with your friends.

You, as Children, are still in the stage of growing your body and knowledge, and at the same time it’s the time you have to use your eyes much more frequently in your life. Therefore, it’s quite important to protect your eyes, especially in summer vacation when you have two months’ holiday, because during this time, most of you will spend a lot of time on watching TV programs and playing computer or PSP. Here I’m going to introduce five easy for you to safeguard your eyes so that even if you are going to watch TV programs and play computer or PSP for a long time, it will be alright.
First, you should not be choosy about food. Most of you are quite choosy about food, some of you only like eating meat rather than vegetable; some of you just want to eat vegetable rather than meat. These are not right. For your eyes’ good, you have to eat a lot of food rather than some of food so that your eyes are able to absorb enough nutrition. You ought to eat fresh vegetable, fresh fruit, marine product and meat. It’s known that most of you like eating candies and sweetmeat. However, it’s not good for your eyes. Therefore, you should try your best to eat as little candies and sweetmeat as you can.
Second, every morning when you get up, stay at your window and look at a distant place; and then you can look back. You may repeat doing this for several times, and you also can do some deep breathing. These are very effective to adjust the function of your eyes,
Third, you may do some massages to your eyes every morning or the time before you go to sleep. You may stand or sit and close your eyes, and rub your hands until they are hot. Rapidly you put your hands on your eyes and stroke your eyes. At this time your eyes are able to feel a strand of warm current. You do this for several times and it’s able to improve the circulation of your eyes.
Fourth, every time when you wash your face, you can use hot water or hot towel to wash your eyes. You may just let hot water or hot towel stay at your eyes. Each time you have to do it for around five minutes.
Fifth, you have to let your eyes turn. When you are watching TV programs or playing computer or PSP, your eyes are fixing on a screen and your eyeballs rarely turn so that your eyes become drier and drier and at the same time they are easy to get tired. Therefore, you have to turn your eyes every hour after you watch TV programs or play computer or PSP for five to ten minutes. It is helpful to improve your strength.
It’s really significant for you to protect your eyes, especially in summer vacation. Only if you protect your eyes well, your strength won’t be worse; and it’s likely that it will be better and better.

Wearing a pair of glasses not only can make young people more stylish, also it can make them look smarter, especially the glasses on Glassesshop. Young children tend to think that other kids with glasses look smarter than kids who don’t wear glasses, according to a new study.
Children between the ages of 6 and 10 who are surveyed for the study also think that kids wearing glasses look more honest than children who don’t wear glasses.
Otherwise, the survey suggests that children don’t tend to judge the attractiveness of their peers who wear glasses when ask about their appearance, potential as a playmate or likely athletic abilities.
“If the impression of looking smarter will appeal to a child, I would use that information and tell the child it is based on research,” Walline said. “Most kids getting glasses for the first time are sensitive about how they’re going to look. Some kids simply refuse to wear glasses because they think they’ll look ugly.”
Walline surveys children in this age range because they are more likely to be prescribed eyeglasses than contact lenses. Generally, children with nearsightedness are diagnosed with myopia and receive their first corrective lenses at around age 8. Teen-agers are not surveyed because they are routinely fitted with contact lenses if they want them.
For the study, Walline and his colleagues assembled a series of 24 pairs of pictures of children for comparison. The children in each pair differed by gender and ethnicity, and each pair included one child with glasses and one child without glasses.
Eighty young children – 42 girls and 38 boys – were surveyed. Of those, 30 kids (38 percent) wore glasses, 34 had at least one sibling with glasses and almost two-thirds had at least one parent who wore glasses.
The questionnaire featured six questions, many based on similar studies in adults. When presented with each pair of photos, the participants were asked : which of the two children pictured would you rather play with; looks smarter or looks better at playing sports; do you think which is better looking, looks more shy or looks more honest?
On average, two thirds of the participating children said they thought that kids wearing glasses looked smarter than kids do not wear glasses. 57 percent of the participants said they thought kids with glasses appeared to be more honest. Both kids with and without glasses thought kids who wear glasses looked smarter.
Walline says the findings suggest that media portrayals associating spectacles with intelligence may be reinforcing a stereotype that even young children accept.
The fact that the question of attractiveness yielded no significantly different answers for children with or without glasses suggests that kids don’t automatically consider kids with glasses to be unattractive, Walline says.
“The concern about attractiveness with glasses seems to be more internal to a particular child rather than an indicator of how they’ll feel about other people who wear glasses,” Walline says.
Therefore, go and buy a pair of glasses on Glassesshop. You will look smarter and more attractive after you order a pair of kids glasses on Glassesshop because you will choose a pair of most suitable glasses here.
